Would you like to know God’s will for your life?
Of course you would!
Most of us have that yearning to know what we were created for; that path we’re called to take that will leave one person, a community or even the entire world better off because we obeyed God’s call on our life.
How purposefully are you praying for God’s will?
God is looking for people who seek His face.
Remember the story in Genesis 32: 22-30 where Jacob wrestles with God? Jacob tells God, “I will not let you go unless you bless me”. And God did bless Jacob.
Just like Jacob, taking hold of God will require a lifestyle of persistence. He wants you to pursue Him.
He wants a living, breathing relationship with you.
God shows up as we lay aside anything that gets in the way and we purposefully move closer to Him.
The deeper we go with God, the more we have to let go of in our lives. We have to be hungry.
Most of us are “too busy”. We allow our daily responsibilities, habits and to-do lists to take precedence. I am all too guilty of these excuses.
We must have zeal and hunger. We can go as far as we want to go with God. He is looking for vessels to carry out His will in the world.
God will speak to you if you pursue Him. This relationship is available to everyone but only the really hungry go after it.
Like Adam in the Garden of Eden, we have more than we think we have.
We’ve been given access to the Kingdom but we only have as much as we press into or pray about.
The ball is in our court.
